| Name: | Piemon (AU) |
|---|---|
| Birthdate: | 1979-03-30 |
| Location: | Econtra |
Character: Piemon
Series/Fandom: Digimon
Original or Alternate: AU
Age: no one knows, but appears as a full grown "adult" from human perspective
Gender: Male
Species: Digimon
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: He has gray skin, red/maroon eyes, a straight out shock of yellow hair with a kind of orange bushy batch of hair on top. He carries four swords on his back in a crisscross pattern. He is very thin, but very strong. He wears a helmet that conceals most of his face, half of which is black, half of which is white. The white side has a red heart on it. The red and white sides go down roughly to his nose, and the rest of it is steel gray, from the nose area down to his neck, which has a white ruff about it.
He wears a red jacket which flares out in the back, has slightly puffy shoulders which have gray skulls marked on them, and gold decorations on the wrists. He wears white gloves and green pants, with the pants having yellowish designs going up and down them. He also wears large yellow boots, and has a very large blue ribbon that is wrapped partly around his sword-sheaths and which also is visible behind him, floating somewhat.
Personality: As a clown-type Digimon, and a master of deception, Piemon enjoys playing mindgames of all sorts, reading classics (ESPECIALLY Shakespeare), and theatre. He is obsessive, to the point that he considers Ishida Yamato his, but he's extremely flexible in his plans. For example, at first he just planned for Yamato to be his warrior to destroy the Chosen Children, but with Yamato now all grown up and escaped, he's now considering other plans for the Chosen of Friendship. Despite this flexibility, he can get very frustrated when things don't go his way. He also considers himself to be among the finest of actors, so tends to act like a prima dona: arrogant, superior, and contemptous to those of lesser abilities. However, the best way to get onto Piemon's good side is to compliment him. Not that Piemon has much of a good side.
Abilities/Strengths: A master of deception, Piemon is the most powerful, cruel and demonic of the four Dark Masters. Piemon has the power to mentally control the swords on his back. He can also take on many shapes. He has the power to change other objects including humans and other digimon into key chains. He also appears to have displayed telekenetic powers; for instance he remotely attacked Greymon while Taichi and Koushiro were being pursued by the armies of fellow Dark Master Mugendramon.
Notable Possessions: Trump Swords and his handkerchiefs, which appear and disappear at will.
Weaknesses: Pride and Holy Angemon's Heaven's Gate
History: No one knows the early history of Piemon or what he might have been before he evolved into that level. He is known to be very powerful, and to have designs on conquering the entire Digital World and possibly Earth as well. This led him to stealing the Crests and Tags that were being made for the Chosen Children from Gennai and his compatriots, though one of them (the Crest of Light) was lost as he fled.
When the Chosen arrived in the Digital World, Piemon watched them from a distance, learning what he could about their weaknesses, strengths, and other abilities. He focused on Yamato, revealed as the Child of Friendship, and realized that with the proper effort, he could be trained very nicely to turn against the others, using that need for people against him. But the proper chance would have to come. Yamato would have to see him as a savior first and foremost, and as the months passed, Piemon began to doubt that such a thing would happen.
Regardless, he made the plans just in case. He came close to scooping the boy up when he was working at Digitamamon's diner, but the presence of another Chosen, Kido Jyou, balked him, as did the arrival of Yagami Taichi later. So he pulled back and waited and watched some more, and this time, his chance really did come.
The Chosen had been attempting to follow Vamdemon, Piemon's former lover, though they didn't spread this information about, back to Earth to find an eighth member of their group. During the fight with Vamdemon's left behind minions, Yamato and his partner Gabumon were trapped in the collapsing castle, the gate having already closed before they could reach it. Piemon took his chance and rescued them both out of the rubble.
Persuading his servants (though the arrogant pups always considered themselves his allies instead), the other Dark Masters, that this would be a wonderful chance to have a weapon against the Chosen when they returned was a little more difficult than he thought, and in the end, he simply told them that they didn't have a choice in the matter. Yamato was going to stay with them, and that was the end of it.
Persuading Yamato that Piemon himself could be trusted was much, much easier than Piemon had expected. All he had to do was promise to get the boy back with his friends, and Yamato all but handed his trust over at that moment. Piemon was indeed searching for a way to open the gate between the worlds, but for his own purposes: to communicate with Vamdemon and co ordinate the destruction of the Chosen Children, with Yamato serving as a main means to that, if all went according to plan.
For six years, everything did go according to Piemon's plan. He was able to fully acquire Yamato's trust when he tended the boy back to health after an attack by Evilmon that left Yamato's face scarred. After that, he began to teach Yamato how to fight with a sword, though he deliberatly left many openings in his lessons. The Chosen would still not be able to stand against him, as they would still be children while Yamato was growing rapidly, but Piemon himself would always have the upperhand in their fights. Piemon did not expect Yamato to ever have to fight anyone else, as all the Digimon under his command knew better than to attack Yamato.
One flaw in his plan was the being known as Gennai, who Yamato had known before being trapped. Gennai was searching for Yamato, aware that he'd been trapped. This was the very last thing that Piemon wanted to have happen, to have his lies and deceptions revealed for what they were. The game he was playing with Yamato was simply too delicious for words, and he refused to end it, especially not at Gennai's interference. So when he finally located Gennai's home, he sent a strong army of his slaves to attack.
Unfortunately, he didn't count on Yamato himself showing up, and retaining enough friendship with the old geezer to actually take part in the battle. When Piemon saw this, he quickly hurried to the battle, and joined in, lecturing Yamato for fighting without talking to him first about it. During this, Gennai was able to escape, and it was this event that began to destroy Yamato's trust in Piemon.
Piemon began to make plans on ways to regain that trust, thinking first of clouding Yamato's mind and memories regarding Gennai and the others. That would turn Yamato naturally more towards Piemon himself, at least in Piemon's opinion, and cut out this silly regard for others that the boy was still afflicted with.
More time passed, and Piemon began to notice that Yamato was sneaking out of the castle frequently, taking his partner Gabumon, who had never trusted Piemon, with him. He trailed them on one of those escapes to see just what was going on, and was not pleased to see Yamato visiting with Leomon, formerly of File Island.
He allowed the visits to go on for a short time after that, in the mild hope that Yamato was actually doing this for his sake, to betray Leomon and all of those 'good' Digimon to Piemon. Instead, he overheard that Yamato intended to leave him: betraying Piemon himself. This could not be allowed, and when Yamato packed his gear and left, Piemon followed.
He attacked Yamato just when the other was on the edge of the castle grounds, not bothering to hide his disappointment or his anger. Because of the gaps he'd deliberately left in Yamato's training, and the fact he knew virtually every move Yamato would make before he made it, he was easily able to defeat him. Once Yamato was knocked unconscious, Piemon removed the Crest of Friendship that the child wore constantly and draped it around the neck of Gabumon, whom he had also knocked out in the fight. Then he turned Gabumon into a keychain, also locking the Crest into that form, and took them all back to the castle.
After taking away Yamato's sword, he left the teenager in his room, which he'd also removed of any weapons or anything which could be used as a weapon. Perhaps it would be annoying to retrain him in some ways, but Piemon refused to ever let what belonged to him escape, and Yamato was now his. Piemon intended to trick Yamato into eating of the Mushrooms of Forgetfulness, which would wipe his mind clean of all memories, and leave him a blank slate which Piemon could reprogram in any way that he so desired.
But when Piemon went to check on Yamato, the boy was gone. This was impossible; the room was still locked, and there was no other way he could've gotten out. There were windows, of course, but they showed no signs of having been climbed out of. Piemon blamed Gennai and his minions at first, but as he observed them over the next week or two, he realized that not only was Yamato not there, but they had no more idea of where he was than he did. They suspected (and correctly of course) that Piemon had caught him, but since he was aware of Yamato's disappearance after that and they weren't, he knew something else had to be up.
Yamato had been gone for roughly a month when Piemon receives an unexpected opportunity to find out where he went: because he too has now been taken away without warning, to a very unusual place.
Addendum to History: Due to his annoyance of various characters, and stalking of Yamato, Saioh and Takion worked together to do something about Piemon, and it was discovered that his mind was fractured. With Takion's support, Saioh mended Piemon's fractured mind, but it left a four year old in an adult's body, so with his pen and paper, Takion fixed it, to match Piemon's body to his mind. The adult psychopath is still within the now five year old's mind, but it's now reduced to a "mean voice" in the back of the child's mind.
Piemon's comments have revealed a childhood growing up with the lab of a Digimon named Apocalymon, who considered Piemon a failed experiment. Jaenelle Angeline discovered the fact that Yamato is in fact Piemon's own biological father. Piemon is gradually discovering his adult self's attacks, and has even managed to undo at least one of the evils his adult self, by restoring Gabumon from the keychain the Child level Digimn had been turned into.
